Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to build and troubleshoot complex assemblies in prototype and production environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in aerospace or defense sectors, interpreting technical data, and adhering to IPC standards.

The role includes assembling wire harnesses, performing soldering, and working with various hand tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant electro-mechanical or cable/harness assembly experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electro-mechanical drawings and process documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and meet manual dexterity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform builds of simple to complex electro-mechanical assemblies and cable harnesses.
• Assemble electronic components into larger systems.
• Fabricate, shield, splice, terminate connectors into cable harnesses.
• Perform soldering operations and follow IPC workmanship standards.
