Job summary

Electronic Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced assembler to build low-volume and prototype electronics from prints or assembly instructions. You will insert components by hand into PCBs and ensure accurate placement and final product quality.

You'll collaborate with other assemblers to share techniques, participate in testing and packing, and contribute to continuous improvement. Overtime may be required to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of assembly experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and visual aids.
• Familiarity with IPC standards or pursuing IPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble low-volume and prototype projects from prints or assembly instructions.
• Insert electronic components by hand into printed circuit boards.
• Ensure accuracy of component placement and final product assembly.
• Work with teammates to teach assembly and soldering techniques for quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teammates to share techniques for quality and efficiency.
• Communicate job status to team leaders and participate in testing, packing, and related tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and occasional overtime as needed.
