Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to join our startup-like team. You will assemble complex mechanical and electrical components, perform tooling changes, and troubleshoot production issues in a fast-paced environment.

You will also support new product introductions, document manufacturing steps, and maintain quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, proficiency with reading schematics, and the ability to work with minimal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing, production/assembly, electronics assembly, or related operations.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure correct implementation of designs.
• Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment with good organization.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and inventory management.
• Basic computer skills for quality control forms.
• Experience in ESD and FOD-controlled environments.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex mechanical and electrical components and subassemblies.
• Set up equipment, change tooling, and adjust production for requirements.
• Troubleshoot routine manufacturing and assembly issues.
• Assist with assembly, buildout, and checkout of automation equipment.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routes, work instructions, and standardized work.
