Job summary

CesiumAstro is hiring a Manufacturing Technician II to join our electronics assembly team. You will assemble and inspect SMT circuit cards and final assemblies for satellites and aerospace systems.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience in high-reliability industries and the ability to work with engineers to implement designs accurately. The ideal candidate will perform cycle counts, assist in shipping/receiving, and maintain a clean, ESD/FOD compliant workspace in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in electronic assembly operations such as SMT, AOI, Prepping Components, X-Ray, De-Panel, and Soldering.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings and diagrams for assembly.
• Familiarity with working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment.
• Attention to detail and clean workspace maintenance.
• Good communication with engineers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and repair SMT circuit cards and final assemblies.
• Work in a fast-paced startup environment with cross-functional team support.
• Assist in inventory counts, shipping/receiving, and other duties as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain quality control records.
