Job summary

RTX is seeking an Engineer in the Space and Air Sensors division to design, develop, and test RF hardware and sensor systems for multiple programs. You will participate in requirements management, design oversight, and IV&V across RF platforms.

The role requires a Master’s degree by start date and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Strong analytical skills and collaboration with teams are essential for success on complex defense projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree by start date.
• Experience communicating design details to stakeholders.
• Exposure to RF system design, digital and/or analog signal processing, waveform and signal modulation analysis, and/or algorithm implementation and testing.
• Experience solving complex technical problems with moderate uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and testing of RF technology and sensor systems across programs.
• Oversee requirements decomposition and allocation of technical elements.
• Support system integration, test, and design verification; fault identification and resolution.
• Provide lab test oversight for hardware, software, and firmware performance.
• Support customer inquiries, field failures, obsolescence, and production transitions.
• Evaluate RF systems including signal processing subsystems and radar/electronic warfare components.
