Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Kerrville State Hospital, is seeking a Security System Supervisor to lead electronic security for current and new facilities. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction, business automation, or technical field.
• Associate degree in any field with a minimum of 24 months experience in construction, business automation, or technical field.
• No degree and minimum of four years of experience in construction, business automation, or technical field.
• Five years of supervisory experience in one of maintenance fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the facility’s Video Surveillance System, ensuring status and security compliance.
• Oversees Access Control System with program goals based on incidents and metrics.
• Supervises installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
• Manages staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and leave management.
• Ensures continuity of services during maintenance or system upgrades.
• Liaises with contractors for camera placement and preventive/corrective maintenance.
