Job summary

The Maintenance Supervisor III position at Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) oversees the daily operations of the Plant Maintenance department at Kerrville State Hospital, ensuring life-safety code compliance and timely project delivery.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, manage preventive maintenance, and participate in disaster response readiness while supporting a 24/7 facility with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in a designated trade with 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Five years of maintenance/painter experience with three years supervising.
• Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance and construction staff and schedules work based on life-safety code requirements.
• Oversees preventive maintenance and daily work orders via CAFM across multiple systems.
• Supervises contractor repairs and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
