Securityhunter, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer with extensive experience in the electronic security industry to design and test security systems for federal clients. The role involves creating designs for Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems, along with manuals and testing plans.

Travel for inspections is required. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electronic security, an engineering degree or equivalent experience, and strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• Significant work experience in electronic security is required.
• Engineering degree or commensurate experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pass government background check.
• Designs for electronic security systems including Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Detection systems.
• Create system testing plans for electronic security systems.
• Create system operation manuals for electronic security systems.
• Review designs for accuracy and quality.
• Assist business development with proposal development.
• Create mark-ups for CAD operators and provide direction.
• Answer questions for field personnel via telephone.
• Assist help desk technicians via telephone when needed.
• Travel to conduct quality control inspections or system testing.
• Maintain knowledge of products from established vendors.
