Confident Search Consultants is seeking an experienced electronics technician to troubleshoot, repair, and analyze returned products. You will conduct root-cause analysis, develop test fixtures, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate with product development teams to drive improvements while maintaining thorough repair data records.

Formación

• Associate degree or military electronics training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of component-level troubleshooting and repair of electronics.
• Soldering experience on fine-pitch SMT and through-hole PCB assemblies.
• Experience with microprocessor- and microcontroller-based products.
• Experience troubleshooting analog circuits and switching power supplies preferred.
• IPC soldering certification preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and use test equipment like oscilloscopes and meters.
• Mentor junior technicians and work well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned electronics.
• Perform component-level repairs on returned devices.
• Collect repair data and maintain a repair database.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
• Assist with design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and systems.
• Support development and documentation of troubleshooting protocols.
• Provide feedback to product teams for design improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
