General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a US Principal Electronics and Computer Hardware Engineer in Design and Development Engineering. The role leads ~100 engineers, shaping hardware architecture and common design solutions across multiple vehicle platforms.

You will mentor teams, work with suppliers, present to leadership, and travel as needed. A BS in Electrical Engineering and 20+ years in electronics are required; advanced degrees are a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree a plus.
• 20+ years of electronics and computer design experience.
• Experience leading a team of engineers and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate to subsystem requirements.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical leadership within the Electronic Hardware Department.
• Develop common electronic architecture across GDLS platforms.
• Mentor geographically dispersed team and develop knowledge assets.
• Evaluate hardware design trade-offs for cost, feasibility and sustainability.
• Support supplier relations and interface with program leadership.
