Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems in Sterling Heights, MI seeks an engineering leader to guide Cyber architecture and compliance across the US market, supporting Ground Combat Platforms. This is an engineering management role reporting to Chief Engineer and Systems Engineering Manager with a focus on cyber system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related science (relevant cyber credentials may be considered).
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in engineering or military projects.
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML modeling languages.
• Experience with cybersecurity, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and CTX drills.

Responsibilities

• Exercise authority for Cyber tasks to help integrate cross-functional scope within schedule and constraints.
• Develop and implement platform cyber-physical design best practices and education across engineering.
• Develop and manage system requirements and interface allocations including SWaP-CRaM and document compliance.
• Coordinate requirements, architectures and system designs and changes across teams.
• Manage trade studies for system and subsystem design including cyber vehicle impacts.
• Oversee verification plans and manage their execution across test, production and field sites.
• Lead design troubleshooting and RCCA for production, development, test or modification projects.
• Develop checkpoint artifacts and review CDLLs to ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with platform IPTs for threat analysis and interface development.
• Evaluate new Cyber and C5ISR technologies for potential GDLS use.
