Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to resolve complex incidents on automated production equipment. You will analyze failures, perform thorough root-cause investigations, and implement preventive measures to improve overall reliability.

In this role, you will read schematics, work with electronics and mechanical systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations on-site.

Qualifications

• Electromechanical troubleshooting: diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, motor, and control-system failures on automated production equipment.
• Mechanical repair: replace/adjust belts, bearings, rollers, chains, sprockets, pulleys, motors and actuators.
• Electrical troubleshooting: diagnose wiring, connectors, power supplies, switches, motors, I/O boards and control boards.

Responsibilities

• Resolves complex and escalated incidents with advanced troubleshooting to minimize production impact.
• Conducts root cause analyses for critical incidents and implements preventive measures.
• Collaborates with software development and DevOps teams to understand application designs and deployment processes.
• Reads schematics and blueprints of equipment; installs and updates basic equipment software/hardware.
