Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to own the Electromechanical component category and manage strategic supplier partnerships for its iron-air battery systems. This hybrid role requires onsite work in Berkeley, CA 3+ days per week, with relocation assistance available and a fast-moving, mission-driven culture.

You will partner with Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Strategic Supply to define and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate MSAs, and drive cost

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or category management in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience procuring customized electronic assemblies and control panels for battery systems.
• Outstanding data evaluation and analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills with leadership-level recommendations.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Own the Electromechanical component category and manage supplier partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and lead times with suppliers.
• Drive cost negotiations based on cost models and market conditions.
• Monitor market conditions and roadmaps to address supply challenges.
• Collaborate with Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering to define sourcing strategy.
