Job summary

The Hillman Group, a leading manufacturing employer in York, seeks an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician III to troubleshoot, repair, and improve complex production equipment. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, support automation systems, and lead major reliability projects to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• Advanced diagnostics for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automation interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex and chronic equipment failures.
• Interface with PLCs, automation, and control systems (non-programming).
• Conduct root cause failure analyses and corrective actions.
• Improve preventive and Predictive maintenance strategies.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Mentor and develop Maintenance I and II technicians.
• Drive reductions in unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering on equipment improvements.
• Promote maintenance best practices and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
