Job summary

Hillman Group seeks a Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. Candidates need electromechanical aptitude, fabrication skills, and the ability to work independently on a wide range of tasks.

Schedule: 2pm-12:30am Monday through Thursdays with some overtime Fridays. Pay: $26 an hour. The role emphasizes safety, TPM participation, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or industrial maintenance certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• PLC and automation troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and efficiently.
• Install, modify, and improve machinery, tooling, and facility systems.
• Document maintenance work orders, repairs, and parts usage.
• Support continuous improvement, TPM, and reliability initiatives.
• Follow all safety procedures including LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE requirements.
