Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Experience with electromechanical engineering and related disciplines preferred.
• Project experience in industrial equipment or powder metallurgy environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for electromechanical equipment specifications, vendor interactions, commissioning/decommissioning, preventive maintenance, process development, and sharing procedures across locations.
• Support product and process development, IP, quality, manufacturing and EHS through equipment design for hardmetal components across product platforms.
• Manage complex interdependencies and support internal equipment transfers.
• Assist in vendor selection, prepare specifications and train personnel in facilities.
• Initiate and implement technology, manufacturing and capital projects.
• Lead and sustain system improvements with measurement analyses to improve consistency and correlation of processes.
• Lead teams to data-driven decisions and validation.
• Author and maintain internal procedures and work instructions.
• Must be able to lift and position moderate-weight equipment.
• Travel up to 25%, depending on project activity.
