Job summary

A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required, with eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance; the role includes defining requirements, wiring diagrams, CAN/Ethernet interfaces, and creating test systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in design and testing of integrated hardware & software systems.
• Experience planning, writing and executing test procedures.
• Familiarity with electromechanical components and interfacing needs.
• Experience in signal integrity / power integrity.
• Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, RS422/RS232, MIL-STD-1553.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary trade studies.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and interact with CAD software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define and document electrical system-level requirements and traceability across product lines.
• Architect, test, and integrate modules into full vehicle systems including hardware selection.
• Conduct root cause analysis for vehicle integration and field operations.
• Perform integration and developmental testing of complex subsystems.
• Participate in design reviews and drive design decisions.
• Create test systems for all development phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to establish interfaces.
• Create and maintain system design documentation (block diagrams, state diagrams, wiring diagrams).
• Develop communication architectures for CAN, Ethernet, and serial devices.
• Plan and document power and signal interconnections between system components.
