Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks a Senior Electromagnetics Engineer to support R&D programs in directed energy, high‑power microwave systems, RF, pulsed power, and related technologies at its Huntsville, AL headquarters.

You will apply electromagnetic theory, computational modeling, and experimental methods to analyze, design, integrate, and test RF and EM systems, leading tasks and mentoring junior engineers. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in electromagnetics, RF, microwave, or related technologies (Master’s in STEM substitutes 2 years).
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, wave propagation, transmission lines, and impedance matching.
• Experience with computational electromagnetics modeling or simulation and hands-on RF/microwave measurements.

Responsibilities

• Lead electromagnetic analysis and design efforts.
• Develop and evaluate computational models for RF and EM systems.
• Plan and execute RF measurements and correlate results with predictions.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate EM components.
• Mentor junior engineers and communicate results clearly.
