Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 for our DEMATIC-MDI Hickory, NC site. The role covers day-shift hours from 7am to 7pm, four days on and four days off, with occasional overtime on weekends.

The technician will troubleshoot and perform preventative/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment, repair components, and manage work orders while ensuring safety and reliability of on-site systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and interpret electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Perform preventative maintenance and document procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits using test equipment.
• Create and close work orders with labor, parts, and data.
• Identify problems and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and request replacements as needed.
• Respond to service calls and resolve equipment faults.
• Work to ensure equipment meets specifications and safety standards.
• Develop positive relationships across organization levels.
