Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 to lead day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for Robotics (Fanuc), ASRS (DMS, Mini loaders), and various MHE at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.

The role mentors junior staff, supports a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule with early and late shifts (5:00 am and 5:30 pm), and requires readiness for overtime and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational-technical training desirable.
• 2–3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits with electrical test equipment.
• Create and close detailed work orders with labor hours, equipment, and parts used.
• Diagnose root causes and resolve equipment faults to minimize downtime.
• Maintain parts inventory and locate spares to ensure quick repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
