Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking an electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician III to support manufacturing operations. You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform detailed setup, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems to ensure continuous production.

The role requires strong reading of blueprints/schematics, safety adherence, and the ability to train junior technicians. Regular standby and overtime may be necessary; expect a full-time, on-site position with

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent related experience.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; strong reading of blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and in a team while maintaining safety.
• Willingness to standby and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components; ensure top operating condition.
• Diagnose electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and drives.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O and repair issues; implement new circuits and controls.
