Job summary

Stangenes Industries, Inc. in California is seeking a System Test Technician to join our engineering team. You will develop test plans, measure data, install components, and troubleshoot complex systems in a test cell environment.

This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, hands-on electronics and electromechanical experience, and the ability to read datasheets and schematics. Some travel internationally for installs and repairs may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in electronics or electro-mechanical work.
• Ability to read and understand datasheets and schematics.
• Experience with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, Hi-Pot).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel internationally when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans with engineering.
• Measure and record electrical/mechanical test data.
• Install system components in test cell.
• Troubleshoot and integrate full system functionality.
• Report failures and conditions to engineering.
• Use hand and power tools for assembly and prototyping.
• Develop and document procedures and test practices.
• Travel internationally for customer installs and on-site repair when needed.
