Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Linthicum, MD seeks an Electro-Mechanical Engineer at Level 3 or 4 to lead mechanical design, analysis, and testing for RF/EO aperture designs on satellite programs.

This 100% onsite role requires independent work, strong CAD skills (Creo, Siemens NX), and a Top-Secret clearance; you’ll collaborate across teams, develop hardware, and contribute to a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with professional experience in mechanical design.
• Proven proficiency with RF/EO sensor hardware and packaging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware development across design, CAD modeling, fabrication, integration and testing.
• Assess mechanical performance to meet cost, schedule, and Technical goals.
• Present solutions and data at milestone reviews.
• Develop procedures and tools for testing hardware against requirements.
• Read schematics and analyze hardware configurations; collaborate cross-functionally.
