Job summary

SOHO Square Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Irvine, CA to optimize production processes using Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies. You will lead cross-functional projects, manage change control, and develop data-driven improvements across the manufacturing lifecycle.

Responsibilities include CAD updates, protocol development, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to meet quality and efficiency targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience (5+ years or more).
• Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience or PhD in Engineering may apply.
• Experience with PLM systems and CAD tools is required or preferred.
• Strong writing, documentation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma and LEAN methods.
• Support production with data analysis and problem solving at a contract manufacturer.
• Lead manufacturing projects including material qualification, changes, and process enhancements.
• Support initiatives like supplier transfers, part changes, and cost reductions.
• Manage change control activities including CAD updates, DRMs, and product specifications.
• Develop metrics to measure and continuously improve processes.
• Design experiments and write protocols to qualify manufacturing processes.
