Job summary

Lancesoft seeks an Electro-Mechanical LCM Engineer in Irvine, CA, hybrid or remote. You will collaborate on CLIENT APM projects, supporting manufacturing strategy, new product commercialization, and line extensions across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes process optimization using Six Sigma and LEAN, change control, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, quality, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience
• Master's degree in engineering or related field with more experience
• Ph.D. in Engineering or related field with relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma and LEAN methods
• Support production at contract manufacturers with data analysis and problem-solving
• Lead initiatives for supplier transfers, part changes, line extensions, and cost reductions
• Manage change control for CAD updates, process changes, and product specifications
• Develop meaningful metrics to measure and optimize processes
• Develop experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes
• Address CAPA, non-conformances, and audit observations
• Create training materials for production to enable knowledge transfer
• Lead project plans to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations
