CJ Schwan's in Pasadena, TX is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician III for a full-time role in a food manufacturing environment. You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors and production machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include major repairs, fabrication, welding to food-safe standards, and training production teams on best practices to minimize downtime and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year maintenance trade degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge with electrical and basic building skills.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyors and production machinery to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform major equipment repairs, fabrication, and installation, including welding to food-safe standards.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using inspection and precision tools.
• Fabricate and maintain plant components such as guards, doors, shafts, and mounting brackets.
• Provide training to production teams on maintenance best practices to reduce downtime and ensure safety.
