Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Bell Gardens, CA seeks an experienced maintenance professional for the second shift to keep a fast-paced food manufacturing facility running smoothly. You will lead by example, walk production lines, and troubleshoot conveyors, chillers, boilers, and 3-phase electrical systems, ensuring downtime is minimized and quality remains high.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food manufacturing, beverage, or bottling environments.
• Proven leadership with a collaborative mindset.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair, plus refrigeration and industrial cooling/heating expertise.
• Freezer inspection, troubleshooting, and repair capability.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics; experience with conduit, sensors, and PVC work.
• Electrical proficiency: 3-phase systems at 420 V and up to 480 V; AC/DC circuits; wiring new motors to production lines.
• Mechanical depth across conveyors, motors, rotors, shafts, bearings, gears, cutting machinery, punch presses, boilers, and chillers.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Forklift and reach truck maintenance, repair, and operation.
• Welding with MIG and stick is helpful.
• Adaptability to a food production facility, with GMPs and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Walk production lines, listen for bearing noise on conveyors, and inspect pumps, chillers and boilers.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration and industrial cooling/heating issues; perform freezer inspections and on-the-spot repairs.
• Open schematics to trace circuits, run conduit and PVC, and safely work with 3-phase systems at 420–480 V.
• Wire new motors into production lines, align shafts and rotors, replace gears and bearings.
• Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic faults; service forklifts and reach trucks; perform general facility maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates, share knowledge, and communicate clearly to keep shift productive and safe.
