Job summary

Light & Wonder in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Senior Advanced Mechanical Engineer to develop electro-mechanical gaming products from concept to production, focusing on sheet metal, die-castings and injection molded parts. This role requires hands-on design, BOM creation, and documentation for release.

You will lead design work, generate 3D CAD models (SolidWorks preferred), create BOMs, release documentation, evaluate prototypes, and mentor junior engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of theory, principles, and procedures of Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrates effective and efficient leadership skills.
• Understanding of 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Bill of Materials and manufacturing processes; drafting experience or training required.
• Knowledge of ECO release process using Agile or other equivalent PLM application.
• Familiarity with basic shop equipment and hand tools used in assembly of prototypes.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

• Develop electro-mechanical products from concept through prototyping and production.
• Design sheet metal, die-cast, and injection-molded parts.
• Create assemblies, drawings, BOMs, Assembly Procedures, and release documentation.
• Evaluate prototypes and refine designs through testing.
• Mentor or lead junior engineers and technicians.
