Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a qualified Master Electrician to support facilities operations at Fort Meade, Maryland. You will perform advanced preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, installation, testing, and modification of electrical systems in Government-owned facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with contract standards.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing distribution and lighting systems, reading blueprints, coordinating with maintenance personnel and government

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in commercial or institutional electrical maintenance.
• Master Electrician license recognized by MD or reciprocal.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using CMMS or similar tracking system.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical distribution systems, lighting, panels, and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics; provide scope of work and materials for projects.
• Respond to service calls and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel and government representatives.
• Ensure compliance with codes and contract requirements.
