Job summary

Southwire Company, Hawesville, KY, is seeking a Senior Electronic Technician to troubleshoot, repair, assemble, install, relocate or modify complex electrical equipment. Rotating 12-hour shifts and competitive pay are offered.

Expect to handle relay logic, high-voltage distribution, and programmable controllers while safely using hand and power tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with Senior Electrician certification to be completed as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Senior Electrician certification or ability to complete certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install or modify complex electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot relay logic systems, circuit breakers, fuses and transformers.
• Install hardware portion of programmable controllers and troubleshoot hardware.
• Read and interpret lighting and power distribution drawings and schematics.
• Lead a small crew and coordinate tasks with supervisor and technicians.
• Maintain documentation: maintenance work orders, inspection reports, PM checklists.
