Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrician - Level 4/5 in the United States to repair, install, and maintain electrical systems on our aerospace equipment. The role involves reading blueprints, testing circuits, and performing preventative maintenance across field, plant, and shop environments.

The candidate should have 6+ years of electrical experience, a high school diploma, and a Journeyman/NCCER license. Extra points for rocket launch facility experience and familiarity with SpaceX systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of experience with electrical systems.
• Preferred: experience at rocket launch facility and with SpaceX electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and reports.
• Ability to test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair devices.
• Journeyman or NCCER industrial license required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace defective parts in electrical fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative repair and maintenance of field, plant, and shop electronic and electrical systems.
• Install enhancements and major upgrades to plant electrical subsystems.
• Work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
