Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrician - Level 4/5 to repair, install, and maintain electrical systems across plant and field environments. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, upgrading subsystems, and testing with volt/ohmmeters and oscilloscopes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of experience; journeyman or NCCER license preferred, with overtime flexibility required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of experience with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace defective parts in electrical fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
• Perform preventative repair and maintenance of field, plant, and shop electronic and electrical systems, devices, equipment and components.
• Install enhancements and major upgrades to plant electrical subsystems.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Test electrical circuits to ensure their operability.
• Test wiring connections with test equipment like volt/ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes.
