Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrician to repair, install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems across plant and field equipment. You will work from blueprints and schematics, test circuits and wiring with precision instruments, and support mission-critical launch campaigns.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of electrical experience. Travel to SpaceX locations and flexible shifts may be required. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• At least 3 years of experience with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace defective parts in electrical fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
• Perform preventative repair and maintenance of field, plant, and shop electrical systems and components.
• Install enhancements and major upgrades to plant electrical subsystems.
• Work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Test electrical circuits to ensure operability.
• Test wiring connections with volt/ohmmeters and oscilloscopes.
