Qualifications

• Interpret electrical and mechanical situations to determine issues and improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Use test equipment including DMM, amp meters, and megger meters.
• Design, install, repair, replace and maintain motors, drives, controls and PLCs.
• Familiar with AC/DC drive programming and PID control.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete START Technician-Electrician IV training or have verifiable experience.
• Respond to trouble calls and interpret schematics for complex projects.
• Troubleshoot relay logic and write simple PLC programs.
• Design, program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Train technicians at other levels to perform tasks safely and effectively.
• Maintain electrical operations for off-shift production systems.
• Learn and use Ariba and EZ Entry/TPM systems for procurement and work instructions.
• Ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
