Job summary

CTL Aerospace, a NADCAP-certified composite-manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Electrician for our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location. You will own maintenance, reliability, and performance of electrical systems across multiple buildings.

This role requires advanced troubleshooting of motor controls, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and coordination of shutdowns. You will lead upgrades, ensure NEC/NFPA 70E compliance, and manage contractors while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• 7+ years of industrial electrician experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Extensive experience with 480 VAC power distribution systems.
• Strong troubleshooting of motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, relays and control systems.
• Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, fixtures, and controls to create functional electrical systems.
• Lead electrical infrastructure upgrades including breakers and transformers.
• Plan and coordinate shutdowns and equipment replacements.
• Perform root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Manage electrical contractors and document maintenance in CMMS.
• Support equipment installations and preventive maintenance strategies.
