Job summary

StrataTech Education Group in Phoenix seeks an experienced Training Manager / Instructor to deliver technical training across enterprise client programs. You will lead facilitated instruction, supervise hands-on labs, and ensure participants leave with practical skills to work safely on real job sites.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial electrical training or equivalent, OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred), NFPA 70E knowledge, and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in industrial or commercial electrical work
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to adult learners
• OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred; within 30 days)
• NFPA 70E certification or working knowledge (within 30 days)
• Experience with medium and low voltage termination work
• Professional presence and ability to command a room of tradespeople
• Willingness to travel to client training sites as required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instruction across program content areas including electrical safety, LOTO and hazardous energy control.
• Lead participant discussions, scenario walkthroughs, and applied learning debriefs.
• Explain technical concepts with depth and precision; provide rationale behind procedures.
• Adapt delivery pace based on participant experience while covering content in schedule.
• Maintain a structured, professional learning environment from start to finish.
• Supervise hands-on lab activities and ensure safety and accuracy.
• Provide real-time coaching during applied activities without disruption.
• Coordinate daily program logistics and manage room setup and equipment.
