Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking an Electrical Testing Specialist III to ensure the quality and compliance of electrical power systems in a laboratory or field setting at customer sites. You will perform functional testing, interpret schematics, and install relay settings to meet customer requirements.

You will mentor Level I/II engineers, develop standard work procedures, and ensure safety and accurate documentation in line with quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Electrical power certification or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 6 years in testing electrical equipment.
• Completed NFPA and OSHA safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and final acceptance testing on electrical panels and related equipment.
• Interpret schematics and customer standards to simulate conditions.
• Install relay settings and upgrade relay firmware as needed.
• Mentor and train Level I/II Electrical Testing Engineers.
• Develop and maintain standard work procedures for new equipment.
