Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Electrical Test Technician 3 to work on small to medium projects or as part of larger initiatives.

You will lead testing programs, supervise electrical testing activities, and coordinate with program managers to optimize building systems and energy goals. The role requires extensive experience with power systems, relays, switchgear, testing equipment, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED
• Possess a valid/active U.S. Work Authorization
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical Testing Program for the duty site and serve as SME over the division's Operation and Maintenance program.
• Manage or train operations staff to operate and update all system control applications maximizing efficiency of the system.
• Assist in development of SOPs and training programs for operators to monitor and control complex building systems.
• Implement CMMS processes to schedule, dispatch, track and report maintenance activities.
• Oversee integration and reliability of building control systems including SCADA, Delta Controls and Life Safety Systems.
• Coordinate with the Program Manager to optimize monitoring system performance and energy goals.
• Provide supervision during electrical testing activities and address operational problems.
• Assist in developing electrical work and project schedules and ORM safety procedures.
