Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician for Atlanta, GA. You will independently manage small to mid-size projects, lead testing programs, and supervise field staff across SCADA, protection, and life-safety systems.

You will develop procedures, coordinate with program management, and ensure compliance with safety and NETA standards while optimizing facility operations and testing workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Experience with protective relays, breakers, transformers and switchgear.
• Willingness to travel and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical Testing Program for duty site as the SME for operations.
• Manage or train staff to operate control systems and optimize performance.
• Assist in SOPs and training programs for operators to monitor complex systems.
• Coordinate CMMS-based scheduling for maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee SCADA, Delta Controls, and Life Safety System integration.
• Troubleshoot and provide guidance on monitoring systems and safety.
• Lead electrical testing activities and support project scheduling.
• Generate safety reports and ensure LOTO compliance.
• Conduct protective relay, circuit breaker, and transformer testing.
