Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Quality Inspector/Engineer in Huntsville, AL to ensure conformance in a Hypersonic program environment. The role involves inspecting components, handling non-conformances, and performing environmental tests per drawings and data packs.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree with 4–8 years of experience or MS with 2 years.
• Alternative: HS diploma/GED with 10 years relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and data packages.
• Experience in ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environments.
• IPC 610/620 or J standard certification is required.
• Must be able to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain processes in the test environment.
• Develop solutions to complex technical issues across areas.
• Communicate with internal and client teams.
• Inspect components per drawings; review assembly instructions.
• Approve procurement requisitions and read data packages.
• Write non-conformances and initiate root-cause investigations.
• Perform environmental testing on boards and components.
• Complete FAI review from supplier; report changes.
• Collaborate to ensure conformance and quality.
