Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Sr. Electrical Test Development Engineer for Starlink customer hardware. You will own test solutions for characterizing reliability and performance of customer devices shipped to end users, from dishes to routers.

You will design and verify development, production, and reliability tests, interfacing with electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to move concepts to full‑scale production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of hardware development or electronics test engineering experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test solutions for high‑volume consumer phased arrays, WiFi routers, power supplies, and upcoming products.
• Select commercial‑off‑the‑shelf hardware and/or design custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight‑like loads.
• Write automation software in Python to interact with units under test, test equipment, field data, and production docs.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test lab teams to drive design or infra improvements for reliability and yield.
• Challenge assumptions and find simple solutions to complex problems.
