Job summary

Rehlko in Kohler, Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer for switchgear. The role focuses on ensuring quality, safety, and performance before products reach customers and requires onsite work Monday–Friday at the Kohler facility.

Responsibilities include FAT, test plan development, electrical/functional testing, defect resolution with engineering teams, and verification of schematics and BOMs to meet UL/IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FAT on low and medium‑voltage switchgear assemblies prior to shipment.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and checklists based on drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
• Perform electrical and functional testing, including continuity and control circuit verification.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects or non‑conformances; work with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and layout drawings to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with UL, IBC, ANSI, IEEE, IEC.
