Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in project management with a demonstrated ability to lead and work in a team.
• Union experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or recognized.
• Subject Matter Expert status.

Responsibilities

• Lead technician training and development programs across substation equipment and related systems.
• Provide hands-on training and support for testing and commissioning activities.
• Serve as a technical resource for project teams, supervisors, and contractors.
• Provide on-site oversight to ensure safe, high-quality work and compliance.
• Support storm restoration, emergency response, outages, and mobile substation installs.
• Develop training materials, guides and testing procedures.
• Evaluate new equipment and practices to improve safety and productivity.
• Review testing data, identify trends and support maintenance planning.
• Assist with transformer factory visits and witness testing.
