Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test to ensure high-quality, throughputs-focused testing for EW hardware. You will own production test activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing teams to improve automation and data analytics.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing test, strong root cause analysis, familiarity with Linux, LabVIEW, and PCBA testing, and the ability to obtain US DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/CS/Mech Eng or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiar with Linux OS, LabVIEW, and NixOS environments.
• Experience with PCBA testing and electronics test equipment.
• Strong root cause analysis skills for non-conforming hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team collaboration.
• Familiar with PLM, MES, and TES systems; cross-functional work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own production test activities and maintain test flow, including troubleshooting.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system to components.
• Improve automation, test coverage, and throughput; develop DFx improvements.
• Create work instructions for technicians and train them on equipment.
• Build a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Investigate root causes of failures and implement corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for NPIs and processes.
• Analyze test data, document results, and produce detailed improvement reports.
• Optimize test strategies to reduce time without compromising quality.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability.
