Job summary

RAVE Aerospace is seeking aSenior Electrical Engineer (Test) to lead hands-on design of test equipment across development, qualification and production cycles. You will own test equipment throughout design, production and support phases and influence product innovation, cost and schedule.

The role requires 6+ years in a similar field and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent. Experience in the IFE/avionics industry and EMC regulatory mitigation are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of EMC regulatory requirements and mitigation.
• Proven track record of meeting project goals.
• Experience in IFE/avionics industries.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to understand products to be tested.
• Architect, design, prototype, verify and document complex test equipment.
• Select suppliers for COTS items.
• Design PCBs and test interfaces.
• Design cabling for test units and internal connections.
• Integrate test equipment with Manufacturing Software.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure equipment readiness.
• Interface with regulatory agencies to obtain FCC/CE approvals.
• Support factory by resolving production test issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
