Job summary

Andrews Cooper is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer in Redmond, WA to lead hardware verification for AR/VR prototypes. You will design, run, and document test plans in a fast-paced lab environment for consumer electronics products.

Travel up to 20%/between sites may be required and on-site work is mandatory. Requires 7+ years in Electrical Engineering, expertise in analog/digital/mixed-signal validation, signal integrity, and at least one digital interface (SPI/I2C/UART/CAN/USB).

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience; MSEE is a plus.
7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
Validation of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
Signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analysis.
Experience in audio testing.
Verification of digital interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB (at least one).
Load regulation, line regulation, efficiency, and ripple/noise measurements.
Root cause analysis and failure diagnostics.
Board bring-up and prototype validation.
Up to 20% travel may be required between locations.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Background checks are required.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans for hardware verification and validation of new prototypes in the AR/VR space.
Present testing results to cross functional teams and provide design feedback for future design iterations.
Work in a lab environment on new innovative products for the consumer electronics space.
Regular time on-site; not open to fully remote work.
