Job summary

Andrews Cooper Technology LLC is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA. You will perform hands-on testing in a lab for consumer electronics, focusing on digital/analog validation and battery-related testing.

You’ll write Python scripts, work with microcontrollers and PLDs, and travel up to 20% to client sites as needed. The role requires staying on-site at a client location in Sunnyvale and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience; MSEE is a plus.
• 3–7 years of professional hands-on Electrical Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog design and test methods.
• Experience writing Python test scripts.
• Experience testing batteries and battery management systems.
• Experience testing microcontrollers and programmable logic devices.
• Proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, programmable power supplies).
• Board bring-up, system bring-up and validation experience.
• Up to 20% travel may be required; travel access to client sites.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; background checks.
