Job summary

Andrews Cooper is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to drive hardware verification for AR/VR prototypes. You will work in a lab environment, testing consumer electronics and collaborating with cross-functional teams at our Redmond, WA location.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on EE experience, strong analog/digital/mixed-signal validation, and expertise in signal/power integrity, plus debugging interfaces such as SPI/I2C/UART/CAN/USB. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• For candidates: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MSEE is a plus.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Validation of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analysis.
• Experience in audio testing.
• Verification of digital interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB.
• Load regulation, line regulation, efficiency, and ripple/noise measurements.
• Root cause analysis and failure diagnostics.
• Board bring-up and prototype validation.
• Up to 20% travel; reliable transportation required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship; background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work in a lab environment on consumer electronics products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Hands-on testing with an analytical, inquisitive mindset.
• Role requires regular on-site work; not fully remote.
• Develop and execute test plans for hardware verification of prototypes in AR/VR.
• Present testing results and provide design feedback for iterations.
