Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to join our Davenport, IA plant. You will support safety initiatives, fulfill the High Voltage Designee duties, and provide technical leadership on planned and unplanned outages, focusing on medium/high voltage gear, 250VDC supply, air compressors, CNC machines, and PLCs.

You will train and mentor unit supervisors and craftspeople, develop SOPs and work instructions, and contribute to preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years electrical experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot to root cause.
• US work eligibility; ITAR considerations apply.

Responsibilities

• Support safety programs and lead by example per EHS policies.
• Fulfill the 32.61 High Voltage Designee duties including committee involvement.
• Provide technical leadership on outages for HV/MV gear, 250VDC, CNCs and PLCs.
• Train and mentor unit supervisors and craftspeople; develop training plans.
• Develop SOPs/WIPs for new and existing equipment; train on procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis and improve equipment reliability.
• Assist in critical spare parts management.
