Job summary

InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician IV to support customer service needs. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead crews, install and commission EV charging and solar/battery systems, and ensure safe, timely field work with strong customer focus.

Expect significant regional travel, field documentation, and ongoing training to advance within the technician path. A Journeyman license and NEC knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Valid electrician certification/Journeyman-level license.
• 5–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Advanced NEC knowledge and permit process familiarity.
• Ability to read blueprints and load calculations.
• Procore or similar project documentation software experience.
• Ability to travel 50–75% of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews; assign work and ensure quality.
• Pull permits, prepare plans, liaise with inspectors and authorities.
• Design and oversee installations for service upgrades, lighting, panels and controls.
• Install and wire commercial/industrial electrical systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate third-party vendors for installations and commissioning.
• Perform preventive maintenance and field testing on EV charging and solar systems.
